Facebook competition winner Jenny Collins and her friend Cilla enjoyed a unique tour of the Battle of Britain Memorial as the guest of site manager Jules Gome
The Trust organised a ‘like and share’ competition in a bid to spread awareness of the site and then pulled one supporter’s name – Jenny’s – out of a virtual ‘hat’ to enjoy a visit to the site.
After their tour, guided by Jules, the two friends visited The Scramble Experience and then enjoyed a cream team in the first floor Cockpit Cafe with views across the Channel.
“They both thoroughly enjoyed it and said they would be back with other relatives,” Jules commented
