We threw open our doors to social media content creators on Saturday, helping to spread the word about the Memorial in general and our half-term offer in particular.
Families with an impressive number of followers on Facebook and Instagram were invited to sample The Scramble Experience and help us tell the world about this special place and about our ‘buy one, get one free’ offer.
The initiative, which saw a big boost in our social media statistics across the weekend, was hailed as “a great success” by Trust honorary secretary Patrick Tootal. “The Trust is keen to appeal to a younger audience, and The Scramble Experience is designed with families in mind,” he commented.
“We already have a good following on social media and we decided it would be a good exercise to encourage some well-known family content creators to help us spread the message even wider by posting to their followers. It was a successful day and they all enjoyed their visit, as well as helping raise awareness of the Memorial.”
