We will remember them

The Trust's annual service of commemoration to mark Remembrance Day was again well attended, with volunteers and Trustees joined by visitors and by villagers from Capel-le-Ferne.

The Trust always holds a service on 11 November, rather than the closest Sunday, in honour not just of the Few who served in the summer and early autumn of 1940 but of all those who sacrificed so much in two world wars and in more recent conflicts.

Wreaths were laid at the base of the National Memorial to the Few following the moving, short service, with the Trust's wreath laid by Memorial Manager Jules Gomez (pictured).
