Site closed on Sunday 4 July

The Trust regrets that the site will not be open to the public on Sunday 4 July but will instead be hosting a small, private event for a restricted number of relatives of the Few.

This small ceremony, organised to comply with the revised lockdown restrictions now in place, will allow relatives to remember their loved ones and commemorate the start of the Battle of Britain 81 years ago. It will replace the usual Memorial Day commemorations, which sadly cannot be organised this year because of the pandemic.

Please note that in addition to the car park and Wing being closed, the site will not be open to visitors on foot that day. Memorial Day in its more usual format will return in 2022. Thank you for your patience.
