Try your hand at kit building

Our fabulously fun Airfix Make and Paint Day is back! Join us on Sunday 18 February for another kit-building and painting session, with expert help on hand.

The renowned plastic kit manufacturer Airfix is generously supporting our two sessions aimed at giving would-be modellers young and old the chance to build and paint a scale model.

This year we’ve got a choice of a World War 1 Mk 1 tank, a Fokker triplane or a Sopwith Camel, so why not bring the family and recreate your own battle?

The event is aimed at anyone who fancies trying their hand at this fascinating hobby – and we’ll have some experienced model builders on hand if anyone needs help.

At just £15 a person, the morning and afternoon sessions, held in the Geoffrey Page Centre at The Wing, offer a great chance to learn something new and have some creative fun. With just 25 places available at each session, we are expecting them to go quickly, so don’t miss out!
