Time to celebrate

Children always enjoy the attractions of the Battle of Britain Memorial, particularly our replica Spitfire and Hurricane and the hands-on fun on offer in The Scramble Experience.

The Memorial has also been proving popular with those youngsters who are collecting badges for their lanyards through the Wheels of Time scheme, which encourages children to visit history-focused sites across Kent.

Ruby (9) and Oscar (8) Inglis notched up ten sites when they arrived at the Memorial, which meant they qualified for a bronze Wheels of Time award, presented to them by the Trust's Hon Treasurer, Sam Pilcher.
