Remembrance Day Respect

Sunshine greeted possibly the largest-ever gathering for a Remembrance Day service at the National Memorial to the Few on Monday 11 November.

Led by the Rev Brian Williams, Vicar of St Radigunds, Capel-le-Ferne, the respectful congregation fell silent for two minutes in remembrance not just of The Few but of all those who have lost their lives in historic, and more recent, conflicts.

The crowd was welcomed to the Memorial by Trustee Andy Simpson, who was joined in laying wreaths on behalf of the Trust by fellow Trustee Barry Duffield and memorial manager Jules Gomez.
