Changes to admission arrangements at the Memorial in the new year will make it cheaper for all our visitors to enjoy the high-tech information and family fun on offer in The Scramble Experience.
From 6 January, visitors will have to pay a small fee to enter our Wing visitor centre, but access to the audio-visual delights of the Experience will be included within the price, which will be lower than the current cost of accessing the Experience.
Entry to The Wing will cost £6 for adults, but will include access to the Experience, which currently costs £7. The cost for a family will drop to £16.50 from the current £18.50. Children aged between five and 15 will pay just £4, with under-fives going free.
The Memorial Trust has been forced to introduce a small charge for access to The Wing to help meet rising costs. The Trust is a charity that receives no public funding and relies on the generosity of visitors to keep the Memorial alive.
Visitors will still be able to access the Cockpit Café and take in the breathtaking views from its first floor balcony while enjoying welcome refreshment.
