Mapping their way to the Memorial

A group of youngsters from 354 (Dover) Squadron RAF Air Cadets started and finished a day's map reading practice at the Memorial.

The young people headed off from the Memorial on a day's navigation practice and enjoyed a cooling ice lolly from the Cockpit Cafe on their return.

"We like to keep the RAF at the heart of everything we do, which is why we chose the Memorial as our start and finish point," explained Rachelle Broom, Flt Lt RAF Air Cadets, commanding officer of 354 Squadron. "The team at the Memorial was really accommodating and helped make the cadets' day special."
