Celebrating a busy year

Trust President Sir Stephen Dalton looked back on a busy but successful year when he welcomed volunteers, trustees and staff to the annual Christmas 'thank you' lunch.

Sir Stephen thanked all those present for their hard work during what he said had been a year of progress for the charity, which saw an upturn in visitor numbers and lots of new initiatives.

The Trust could not keep the doors of The Wing open without the hard work of the many volunteers who do so much to support the Trust, while the small staff team regularly goes 'above and beyond' to help the charity deliver a great welcome to the many thousands of visitors who come to Capel-le-Ferne every year to pay their respects to 'the Few'.

The festive lunch at the Dover Marina Hotel & Spa has become a traditional way of saying 'thank you' for their efforts and was once again enjoyed by all, as the pictures below demonstrate.
