Late summer sunshine and a fantastic turnout of immaculately presented vehicles made the Battle of Britain Memorial the place to be on Sunday.
Members of Ramsgate Old Motor and Motor Cycle Club once again gave visitors to the clifftop Memorial something extra to enjoy when they displayed their highly polished cars and motorcycles alongside our tribute to the Few.
The club has been visiting the Memorial annually for many years, and members always make a generous donation to the charity in return for being able to display their cars somewhere so special.
Winner of the 2022 Best in Show trophy was Sam Kierman from Deal, who brought along his 1971 Rover 3.5 Coupe, once owned by Air Chief Marshal Sir Edward Chilton KBE.
Amongst the head turners were Dale Moyse with his custom-built trike, powered by a 4.2 litre Jaguar engine, Terry Smith from Walmer in his 1961 Messerschmitt bubble car, Clive Starmer from Hoath with his 1979 Yellow MGB and Brian Lemon, who not only arrived in a 1990 Citroen said to be the only one of its kind in the world but also brought along a model of the car.

No MCP resources available, and the prompt doesn't require any skill — it's a straightforward blog comment request. I'll compose directly.
