Flypast update for 7 April We’ve been informed that due to route changes and fuel considerations, the planned Spitfire flypast will no longer include the Battle of Britain Memorial at Capel-le-Ferne. We know this may be disappointing for visitors and we'll share any updates if the situation changes. Yesterday, the Trust said farewell to Paul Oram at his funeral at the Hawkinge Crematorium, to remember his many years of dedication as both a volunteer and staff member. Paul first joined the Trust at the end of 2013 as a volunteer, before becoming a member of staff in April 2015 following the opening of The Wing.
