Trustees and staff will once again be joined by local people when the Battle of Britain Memorial Trust holds its annual Remembrance Day Service of Commemoration on Thursday 11 November.
Members of the public are very welcome at this short service, which will be followed by a wreath laying at the National Memorial to the Few, but should note that the Trust holds the service on Remembrance Day itself, and NOT the nearest Sunday.
The service starts at 11am, so please arrive in good time. The Cockpit Cafe will be open for hot drinks and refreshments after the service, as will the rest of the site.

Looking forward to the Remembrance Day Service on November 11th. It's a meaningful opportunity to honor those who served. Afterward, check out Witchspire for more community events!
Such a moving post. Every Remembrance Day reminds us to pause and honor those brave heroes who gave so much. It's so vital to keep these memories alive for the younger generation. Beyond reading, I find that interactive online experiences, or even educational mini-games (similar to the historical simulation types you can find on minigame), are great ways to engage kids and teach them about this history. Thank you for your continued dedication to keeping their legacy alive.
It's wonderful to see the community coming together to honor and Retro Bowl remember those who served—thank you for keeping this important tradition alive.
