Happy Birthday, Ma'am

The Battle of Britain Memorial Trust is delighted to wish Her Majesty The Queen many happy returns of the day on the occasion of her 96th birthday.

Her Majesty, accompanied by His Royal Highness The Late Duke of Edinburgh, performed the official opening of The Wing in March 2015, touring the building and visiting The Scramble Experience.

In opening the building, the Queen was following in the footsteps of her mother, Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother, who unveiled the National Memorial to the Few in July 1993.
