Members of the Royal Observer Corps Association, including two local members from the Royal Air Forces Association’s Wye branch, enjoyed fine weather when they visited the Memorial.
Thirteen members of the group were taken on a tour of the clifftop tribute by site manager Jules Gomez before enjoying the impressive views and refreshments on offer in the first floor Cockpit Café.
Andy Hall, who served on the Royal Observer Corps post which overlooked Folkestone, presented Jules with a commemorative plaque to hang in the stairwell inside The Wing
