The Trust invited a number of celebrity guests and friends to the relaxed event, making the most of the opportunity to update them on the work of the charity, the Next Sortie appeal and the campaign to remember ‘the Many’ through our Blade of Honour project.
Trust President Air Chief Marshal Sir Stephen Dalton welcomed Prince Michael and guests, who included Annette Badland, who recently appeared in the popular TV series Ted Lasso, and film superstar Sir Ben Kingsley,
Other famous names at the event included Hayley Mills, Su Pollard, Lorraine Chase and Michael Aspel, while Trust supporter Alastair Kerr, who funded the external lighting at the Capel-le-Ferne memorial, and The Earl of Stockton were among other guests.
