Enjoy a free Sunday film with us

A unique film created by Kent filmmaker Phillip Day is being screened at The Wing on the afternoon of Sunday 25 February.

The Battle of Britain – September Skies has been ‘remixed’ from two other films to create a dramatic tale that tells the story of an ambitious Luftwaffe ace and a 19-year-old RAF recruit flying his first Spitfire sortie in the Battle of Britain.

As their fates collide, what could possibly go wrong? For both of them…

Admission to this afternoon event in The Geoffrey Page Centre at The Wing is free, but donations to the Trust, a charity that receives no public funding in support of its work, would be welcome.

The film, made by Phillip Day as a “private, non-commercial, non-monetised project” begins at 2pm and will be screened in two halves, either side of a short intermission. The Cockpit Café will be available for refreshments and will stay open until 4.30pm.

Bookings can be made by emailing enquiries@battleofbritainmemorial.org or calling 01303 249292
