The Battle of Britain Memorial Trust welcomes pre-booked coach parties with dedicated parking, group admission rates, free driver entry, guided tours (subject to availability), and a fully accessible site. Visitors can explore the immersive Scramble Experience, reflect at the clifftop Memorial and Christopher Foxley-Norris Memorial Wall, see replica aircraft, and enjoy refreshments and panoramic Channel views from the Cockpit Café. Pre-booked groups of ten or more visiting The Wing are exempt from standard parking charges.

The Scramble Experience
Step into the heart of the Battle of Britain with the immersive Scramble Experience. A powerful film, hands-on activities and cutting-edge interactive displays, brings to life the reality of 1940 and the courage of the Few.
Aircraft
Explore full-size replica aircraft that bring the Battle of Britain to life, including iconic fighter designs that reflect the machines flown by the Few in 1940. These striking displays offer a powerful connection to history and help visitors of all ages understand the courage and skill of those who fought in the skies.
Cockpit Cafe
With the best view in Kent, the Cockpit Café on the first floor of The Wing looks out over the Channel to France and serves a delicious range of drinks, sandwiches, cake, cream teas, beer and wine.
The Wall
The Wall lists all aircrew known to have flown at least one sortie with an accredited squadron or unit of the Royal Air Force during the Battle of Britain in 1940. Names are in alphabetical order, without rank or decoration, reflecting the shared contribution of all the Few to the RAF’s victory.
Blade of Honour
Through engraved tiles laid beside the Memorial’s iconic propeller blades, The Blade of Honour recognises the ground crews, observers, wardens and civilians whose vital contributions helped secure victory in 1940.
The Wing
Inspired by the shape of a Spitfire wing, it is home to The Scramble Experience and Cockpit Café, with panoramic views across the Channel.

The Memorial
