Top author to host book launch

The Trust is excited at news that top author and historian Dilip Sarker MBE FRHIstS will be visiting the in September for a weekend of events to mark the launch of his latest book.

Battle of Britain 1940: The Finest Hour’s Human Cost will highlight the impact of the Battle in terms of those who became casualities of the conflict. After a number of invitation-only events on Saturday 26 September, Dilip will return on Sunday 27 for a day of presentations and book signings at the site at Capel-le-Ferne.

Advance booking will be essential as this event is expected to be over-subscribed. Details of how to book a place will be posted on the website as soon as they are confirmed.

The literary weekend  will be part of a programme of events organised throughout 2020 to mark the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Britain.
