We are working with a new charity giving partner to help us raise the money we need to keep alive the memory of the Few and maintain and enhance the Memorial and the clifftop site here at Capel-le-Ferne.
Because we are proud to be home to the National Memorial to the Few, the site is free to visit, although there is a small car parking charge for The Wing. Since we receive no public funding we can only do this by encouraging our visitors to use the cafe and the shop, enjoy The Scramble Experience and, hopefully, make a donation.
We hope our online visitors will also help by donating to the cause, and to make that easy we have linked up with Just Giving and included a dedicated button on the website (within the top banner) which offers a simple and secure way of giving to the charity.
We are also keen to encourage people to join our Friends of the Few organsation, which offers lots of benefits as well as providing us with vital support.
Another great way to help secure the future of the Trust and allow us to continue to honour the sacrifices made by the Few in 1940 is to consider the Battle of Britain Memorial Trust in your will. We’ve made it really simple – just ask for our booket on legacies if you think you might be able to help, however far in the future we hope that may be.
