More than 50 Harley Davidson owners made the most of the sparkling spring weather by bringing their highly polished, lovingly cared-for machines to the Memorial on Sunday.
It was the first ride out of the season for the Meridian Chapter Harley Owners Group, and the sight and sound of these impressive motorcycles turned plenty of heads as they arrived in convoy.
The group, led by HOG organiser Dave Mann, spent a few hours exploring the Memorial and visiting The Scramble Experience. Many commented on how wonderful the Memorial and the site looked and said they had particularly enjoyed shooting enemy aircraft from the Hurricane cockpit in the Experience.
“The Memorial is happy to accommodate small or large motorcycle groups wishing to visit,” commented site manager Jules Gomez. “We have an area of hard standing which is perfect for bikes, so please get in touch to arrange a date and time.”
