A joint offer has been introduced to encourage people to visit the Kent Battle of Britain Museum and The Scramble Experience in The Wing here at the Memorial at Capel-le-Ferne.
From today, every paying adult who visits one attraction will be offered a ‘buy one, get one free’ voucher for the other venue, with a limit of two vouchers per group.
The Kent Battle of Britain Museum at Hawkinge – just a mile or so away from the Memorial – houses the world’s largest collection of Battle of Britain memorabilia and features items of interest from more than 700 crashed aircraft.
With The Scramble Experience offering an exciting, hands-on introduction to the Battle itself, together with a wealth of information and audio and video footage of many of those who took part, the two venues complement each other to create a fascinating day out.
The new offer is designed to encourage interested visitors to spend time at both attractions by offering them discounted entry to the second one they visit. The museum at Hawkinge is open from 10am to 5pm until the end of September and until 4pm from October until 3 November, when it closes for the winter.
While the majority of the Memorial is free to visit (nominal car parking charge applies), adult admission to The Scramble Experience costs £6. Entry to the museum is £8 for adults. The offer does not apply to family admission prices at the Memorial.
