The Kent Battle of Britain Museum, just up the road from the Memorial at Hawkinge, houses a fantastic collection that provides a fascinating and in-depth look at the events of 1940.
We are always keen to encourage visitors to the Memorial to add to their day out by visiting the museum as well, but, unlike the Memorial, the museum shuts for the winter, which means there are just two months left in which to visit.
The museum will close for the winter at 4pm on Sunday 4 November. Please make sure you fit in a visit before that date. Why not combine it with an autumn visit to us here at the Memorial?
