More than 100 classic cars were proudly displayed at the Battle of Britain Memorial on Sunday (2 Sept).
The turnout of 108 highly polished machines surprised even organiser Peter Harvey, who had expected around 80 to make their now-annual pilgrimage to the clifftop site for the Bonnets and Wings event.
The visit by members of the Ramsgate Old Motor and Motorcycle Club proved a great success, helped by fine weather and raising an estimated £500 for the Memorial Trust.
At the end of a splendid afternoon, Site Manger Jules Gomez made his choice of Best in Show, selecting a beautiful 1950s Vauxhall Victor Estate owned by Peter Goodall from Nonington.
Peter said his members enjoyed visiting the site because it gave the owners an opportunity to pay their respects to fhe Few while proudly displaying their classic machinery at this atmospheric site.
