The Battle of Britain Memorial Trust is celebrating this morning after reaching the final three in the Small Visitor Attraction of the Year category in the Kent Tourism Awards 2019.
While narrowly pipped at the post by the Hush Heath Estate winery, which won the category, the Trust came away with a finalists’ certificate that will join the numerous other awards already hanging proudly on the wall of The Wing at Capel-le-Ferne. The other finalist in a closely contested category was Mount Ephraim Gardens near Faversham.
The Kent Tourism Awards, run by Visit Kent, are an annual celebration of the best that Kent has to offer, with awards for categories including new businesses, business venues, pubs, acommodation providers, attractions and hotels. This year’s awards ceremony was held at Kent County Cricket Club in Canterbury.
