The Trust’s photographer Barry Duffield was on hand to record Memorial Day as usual, and a gallery of his great images can be seen by following the link at the bottom of this post.
Meanwhile the very special annual event – which this year also marked the 20th anniversary of the unveiling of the Memorial by Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother – also featured on a website published by those who remember a particular group of World War 2 pilots.
The Free Czechoslovak Air Force site published an excellent page which captured the day at Capel-le-Ferne very well and can be seen by following this link. Please take a look and perhaps take some time to explore the rest of that fascinating site.
