Memorial Day Sunday 1 July 2018

Memorial Day is an exciting and colourful tribute to the heroes of the Battle of Britain.  The Central Band of the Royal Air Force, a parade of standards and the historic aircraft of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight* make this a day to remember.

Hello we are looking to come along on Sunday 1st July – can you tell me please is there disabled parking? and is it possible to have a picnic within the grounds?

Thank you in advance – Jayne

    Dear Jayne,

there is a General Public parking area on the day as our main car park is used for invited guests. There will be limited disabled parking but I must stress that there is a small walk to the main area and I would recommend to get in early otherwise you will have to park with the rest of the General Public.

as for a picnic, there is no designated area for this as you will appreciate it can get very busy with visitors on the day. There will be food and refreshments available on the day to purchase.

    Regards
