Kids’ colouring challenge!

We’ve brought back our old friend Bob, the star of our children’s guide to the site here at Capel-le-Ferne, to help out during the coronavirus challenge.

Bob and his Hurricane and Spitfire feature in a number of drawings which children can colour in while stuck at home during the lockdown. We hope it will give them a bit of a smile during these difficult times and perhaps remind them of the challenges that the men of the RAF faced – and dealt with – in 1940.

While we are happy for youngsters to amuse themselves with the colouring sheets, we would love to see some of the results – and we will upload our favourites to the site as well as adding them to our social media channels. It’s just for fun, but we’d really like lots of you to send in your artwork – perhaps get mum or dad to take a photograph of you with your picture. Or why not just draw or paint us a Battle of Britain picture of your own? We’d love to see it. Please send your pictures to enquiries@battleofbritainmemorial.org

Meanwhile if you want to find out more about Bob, the site and the Battle of Britain, why not buy a copy of our children’s guide? It’s only £2.50 and available here.

Here are the sheets for you to print out and colour in – just click the link.
