The Trust has said "farewell and thank you" to Squadron Leader Mark Discombe, who has reached the end of his term as Officer Commanding the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.
The famous Spitfire, Hurricane and Lancaster trio that sets pulses racing whenever it appears will now be led by Squadron Leader Mark Sugden (known as Suggs).
“On behalf of the Trust, I have sent a valedictory note of thanks to ‘Disco’ and have also sent a letter of congratulations to Sqn Ldr Mark Sugden on his appointment,” said Trustee Andy Simpson.
“I have met Suggs on a few occasions and I am sure we will continue to get the same co-operation from the Flight under his leadership.”
