Big names, exciting presentations and fascinating stories add up to a great season of talks at The Wing this autumn.

We’ve lined up a remarkable series of speakers on a diverse range of topics, and with spaces limited to 50 per talk, it really will be “first come, first served” as we brighten up those gloomy autumn weekends.

This year’s curtain raiser on Sunday 2 October will be a visit by the Royal Air Force Presentation Team, which will see serving RAF personnel with wide-ranging experience delivering a multi-media presentation entitled The Current RAF.

This unmissable presentation begins at 2.30pm and is free to attend, but places must be booked in advance, with tickets limited to just 50. See booking details below.

On Sunday 9 October the Trust is delighted to be hosting a webinar presentation by Mandy Hickson entitled An Officer, Not a Gentleman.

Mandy served in the RAF as a Tornado GR4 fast jet pilot and operated in a number of hostile environments, including patrolling the ‘no fly’ zone over Iraq. Now a highly regarded motivational speaker, her webinar is set to be one of the highlights of our autumn talks series. Mandy has recently launched her bestselling book, An Officer, Not a Gentleman, which tells of her inspirational journey to become a pioneering female fighter pilot.
