The National Memorial to the Few is a peaceful space, offering quiet reflection, clifftop walks and views across the Channel to France. The central statue of a lone pilot is complemented by the Christopher Foxley-Norris Memorial Wall, a replica Spitfire and Hurricane, a new bust of Air Chief Marshal Sir Keith Park and other items of interest..
The site has ladies, gents and disabled toilets and the café sells hot drinks, soft drinks, ice creams, snacks and confectionery. The shop stocks a wide range of souvenirs and Battle of Britain-themed gifts.
Special events are held throughout the year and the Fly with a Spitfire experience operates close to Capel-le-Ferne, providing superb views of a Spitfire over the Memorial on a number of occasions. Check the news section of this site or visit our Facebook page to keep up to date.
