The Wing -

Appeal

With the planning application for the Wing now submitted, fund-raising has begun in earnest for this ambitious scheme.

By current standards, the Wing is an achievable project, costing an estimated £2.5 million, not just to build but to fit out with the high-tech equipment that will make it such an exciting experience.

That’s still a lot of money, though, and the Trust needs all the help it can muster in order to build the Wing and spread the message of the Few. It’s no secret that the Few are becoming fewer with every passing year, and we want to open the Wing in the next two to three years.

The Trust will be applying for Heritage Lottery Funding and talking to major benefactors, but we also need your help. Even a car sticker will contribute to the appeal, as will joining the Friends of the Few, popping in to the site for a coffee or buying one of our many souvenirs.

We are currently working on setting up an online shop, but in the meantime you can buy a number of souvenirs by sending a cheque to the address below.
