Free show tickets from Trust supporter Aero Legends

We’ve teamed up with one of the country’s leading airborne experience providers in an exciting partnership that will help raise funds for the Trust.

Headcorn-based Aero Legends has agreed to support the Trust by paying us commission whenever one of our customers books a flight with the company.

Aero Legends will also offer free entry to any one of its summer events at Headcorn aerodrome to anyone who pays to visit the Scramble Experience at The Wing, the visitor centre at the Battle of Britain Memorial.

We have agreed a number of other joint offers and promotions that reflect our shared interest in the bravery and sacrifice shown by the men of the RAF during the aerial conflict of 1940.

Aero Legends, named Start Up Business of the Year at the Kent Excellence In Business Awards in 2016, offers a range of airborne experiences, from flying in a Tiger Moth or Harvard – training aircraft for future WW2 fighter pilots – to taking to the skies in a genuine Spitfire T9.

The flights from Headcorn regularly take in the National Memorial to the Few here at Capel-le-Ferne, and Aero Legends’ Ben Perkins was keen to forge stronger links between the two organisations.

“The Trust does a fantastic job preserving the memory of the men who flew these wonderful aircraft and we are happy to give something back,” he said.

“There are clear links between the Trust’s goals and our ambitions and we are delighted that we help attract visitors to the Memorial when we are flying overhead. If some of those visitors want to sign up for the ultimate experience of flying in a Spitfire it seems only fair to donate some of the cost back to the charity.”

Trust chairman Richard Hunting CBE commented: “There is no better sight than a classic fighter flying over the National Memorial to the Few at Capel-le-Ferne and we are always pleased to see Aero Legends’ aircraft overhead.

“I am thrilled that the company now wants to help us further by supporting our fund-raising efforts in a number of ways.”

So don’t forget: if you fancy a flight in a Spitfire, make sure you book it through the Trust, and if you want free entry to any one of the great Headcorn events this summer, just visit The Scramble Experience!
