Battle Of Britain Guided Tour - 2009


Specially arranged by the Battle of Britain Memorial Trust

The two 2008 guided tours, organised by The Friends of The Few have now taken place, led by Geoff Simpson who, as well as being a Trustee of the Battle of Britain Memorial Trust is a member of the Guild of Battlefield Guides and the RAF Historical Society.

A tour party is seen in the village of Elham, near Folkestone, the site in 1940 of a dump for crashed Luftwaffe aircraft and the scene of a large number of incidents during the Battle.
