Some of those we remember

Here are some of the men who we remember at the National Memorial at Capel-le-Ferne, as they were in 1940. All their names are to be found on the Christopher Foxley-Norris Memorial Wall.

Pilot Officer Herbert Case, Spitfire pilot, 72 Squadron, killed in action, October 12 1940.

Pilot Officer Richard Hogg, Spitfire pilot, 152 Squadron, killed in action August 25 1940.

Members of the Woods-Scawen family at Memorial Day 2006. They have with them the DFCs awarded to Flying Officer Patrick Woods-Scawen and his brother Pilot Officer Anthony Woods-Scawen (of 43 Squadron) who were lost on successive days in the Battle.
